Joshua Goldberg

Joshua Goldberg attended law school at the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2011. In law school, Joshua invested himself in courses and opportunities that gave him a chance to develop his oral and written advocacy skills. He participated in a negotiation competition, served as an editor for the  University of Ottawa Journal of Law and Technology, and interned at Downtown Legal Services, the University of Toronto Legal Clinic, where he acted for underprivileged individuals in a variety of criminal matters. In his last semester of law school, he also worked as a free-lance research assistant to a number of professors and lawyers.

After graduating from law school, Joshua joined Reybroek Barristers as an articling student and was asked back as an associate.  His practice focuses on motor vehicle accidents, disability insurance claims, slip-and-falls, CPP and ODSP appeals and other insurance related matters. He regularly appears before the Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Justice and administrative tribunals, where he advocates on behalf of clients.

Prior to commencing law school, Joshua spent several years abroad; in China, and other Asian countries, Europe and Australia. During that time, he learned how to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese at an advanced level. In 2008, he returned to China for one semester to study at Peking University, where he participated in the LL.M. in Chinese Law. Joshua provides legal services in English and Chinese.
